Irlam and Cadishead Festival goers get involved in the Big Conversation

The Big Conversation has now come to a close. Watch this space for updates and in the meantime take a look around our site to find out more about our work.

Irlam and Cadishead festival goers were encouraged to ‘get on the bus’ towards improving health and social care in Salford.

Salford Together commercial partners Key 103 parked their community bus at the Irlam and Cadishead Festival (Bank Holiday Monday 28th August) to help capture the public’s thoughts on the Big Health and Care Conversation.

This is a two-month city-wide engagement exercise, open to the 189,000 adult population who live in Salford or attend a GP practice in the area, inviting the public to have their say on plans to transform the way health and care services are provided in the future.

And people enjoying a day out in the sun in Irlam were not shy in giving their views. Some also pledged to make changes to their own lives to improve their own health.
