The Big Conversation has now come to a close. Watch this space for updates and in the meantime take a look around our site to find out more about our work.
Salford Together staff and partners have been busy going out and about in Salford Communities to discuss the Big Health and Care conversation.
On Tuesday 22nd August, The Salford Together engagement team went out to meet with Salford Citizens and staff at Start for Salford to have a two way conversation about future thoughts for health and social care.
Start in Salford, which is based at Brunswick House in Salford, promotes emotional well-being and recovery by providing arts-based activities and training opportunities for people who are, or maybe at risk of, experiencing mental health difficulties or social exclusion.
The group gave their views on future plans and shared their thoughts and experiences. Those who attended felt excited about the health and social care vision and were eager to see some of the ideas in action in the near future.
Recently Start in Salford has been acknowledged in a parliamentary report for the work it does using art and art therapy to help patients with a variety of conditions on the road to recovery.
