Hundreds of Salford people and NHS/Council staff were happy to give up time to share their positive stories of the NHS at events to celebrate the NHS 70th birthday.
Two informal tea parties were held outside the Lowry Outlet in Salford Quays (Thursday 28th June) and at Tesco in Irlam (Monday 2nd July) where staff from Salford Together and Salford Healthwatch chatted to passers by.
And Salford Together staff also attended events at Salford Royal and Salford City Council to celebrate NHS70.
Please watch the following short film to see the love and warmth felt towards the NHS in Salford.
Here are some of messages from people from the Salford Quays and Irlam events we posted on Twitter.
We even had a person – Anita – who was born in the year the NHS started.
Thank you to all of those who stopped to take part – your messages will be passed on to those that matter – the hard working staff who are keeping up the long held traditions of the NHS.
