Salford GP Practices give their views on new models of care

Salford’s GP Practices have had their say on the new models of care due to start in Salford this month

Senior staff from Salford Together/Salford Primary Care Together attended the 5 Salford Neighbourhood Primary Care Boards in March to hold two way engagement sessions with GPs and practice staff.

Two new teams, the Salford (citywide) Urgent Care Team and the Swinton Enhanced Care Team, will start this month bringing services closer to the community and people in their own homes.

And it was important to get the views of those who already work closely with people in community settings and carry out excellent work on a daily basis.
