Broughton has become the latest area of Salford to benefit from evening and weekend GP appointments following the launch of the Salford Wide Extended Access Pilot.
The pilot, run by Salford Primary Care Together, means patients will be able to book GP appointments later in the evening (6.30pm-8.15pm) Monday to Friday and on a Saturday and Sunday morning (9.30am-12.45pm).
These appointments will take place at Newbury Place Health Centre. Patients book these appointments via their own GP practice.
The Salford Wide Extended Access Pilot is already up and running in Swinton, Eccles and Irlam and by spring this year all patients in Salford will have evening and weekend appointments available in the area they live.
