Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham joined Salford leaders to launch new DigitalSalford websites, one of which – MyCityHealth – aims to inform people about health and social care issues in Salford.
Salford is aiming to become a Digital City, an ambition which forms part of a wider vision for a fairer and more inclusive Salford to improve resident’s lives.
All Salford Partners are strongly committed to digital inclusion, which is about making sure that residents have the capability to use the internet to do things that benefit them day to day – whether that’s individuals or community organisations.
At an event at Media City UK in Salford on Thursday 11th January, Sir David Dalton, Chief Executive of The Northern Care Alliance (which includes Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust) launched MYCityHealth, a website that keeps people up to date on health and social care initiatives in Salford.
